Lake Michigan Winter Beach

Our idea of Michigan winter fun is a stroll along Lake Michigan. The lake is beautiful and you pretty much have it all to yourself (except for the Gulls).

Depending on the wind, the ice along the shore can transform into winter sculpture. Lighthouses are covered in a blanket of ice. Helps you to understand the fury of winter storms.

We always end our trip warming up at a local coffee shop. We recommend a winter beach walk to enjoy the lake in a way many have never tried.
