Hi, my name is Hal Zenker and I have been going to Tiscornia Park since I was a little boy it was 1963. We make a least one trip to the lake every year. My favorite things is to watch the sun set over that beautiful lighthouse..very romantic place...
Paul's Note: Thanks Hal for the great photo of the harbor and lighthouse in St. Joseph MI. Just so you know, when you pay to park at Tiscornia Beach you can also use that parking pass at Lions Park Beach which is just south of Silver Beach.
It's also a short walk from Tiscornia Beach north to Jean Clock Park and Rocky Gap Park. So you have three beaches north of the north pier, and two great Michigan beaches south of the south pier. You can't lose no matter which direction your headed.
Silver Beach recently opened the splash park and carousel which are neat additions to the lower bluff area in St. Joseph. Hal, don't forget the great restaurants on the bluff. Sue and I enjoy Tossi's Cafe and The Boulevard Inns bistro.
St. Joseph Michigan is one of our favorite visits in southwest Michigan. Just a great town for romantic day trips or getaways.
