Something Special About South Haven ...

Corey and I celebrated our 1st Anniversary in his hometown of South Haven. We started by attending the morning service of the church we were married in. It was a beautiful October day, just like last year, but a little colder this time! The weather didn't keep us from driving down to one of our favorite Lake Michigan beaches though.
We had to bundle up, but there's something romantic about walking the pier with your husband cuddling you to keep you warm. We met at the beach, and love the chance to return and remember how it all began.
It's funny how life gets so crazy and busy and we forget to appreciate the simple things. Sometimes all you need is a little sand, a little sun, and the one you love.
